Branson is a Ozark Town in southwest Missouri, and it is a famous family vacation destination. There are show theaters, theme park, water park, nature park, golf course, ect. No matter you are three years young or ninety years old, everyone can find something that entertained you. Here are the 5 places I feel fun to go.
#1. White Water Park

White Water is a water park in Branson. Even though this water park is not as big as the water park in Wisconsin Dells, but the unique and fun ambience give the whole family a wet and wonderful adventure. We had fun in the water slide, lazy river, and splash pool. The only down side of this park is that it is only open during summer time.
#2. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

This is one of my favourite nature parks. You can go hiking, biking, fishing, house back riding, Segway tours in the park. They also have wildlife tram tours and private tours. If you love nature, you may have a beautiful wedding here too. We took the wildlife tram tour.

This is the 1800’s style Hope Wedding Chapel. There is a patio in the back of the Chapel, has beautiful waterfall view.

We rode the Tram through the park, there was a brook running through the entire park. Lots of the trouts were swimming in the brook. Most of them were rainbow trout, but we saw some yellow ones too. You could ask the driver some fish food and feed the fish. It was fun to watch all fish coming to one spot looking for food.
The tram took us around the park, and the last stop was the cross the Arkansas border and enter the Bison~Elk Country pasture, where we encountered some of the largest residents of Dogwood Canyon, American bison, elk, whitetail deer and Texas longhorn.
#3. Show Boat
If you love shows, and like a boat ride too, then you can’t miss this Showboat tour. After boarding on the boat, we enjoyed the view of the Table Rock Lake first. Then the dinner served in the boat while the magic show was performing, and you the music shows after dinner. That was a fun night!
#4. Silver Dollar City Theme Park

Silver Dollar City is a theme park in Branson MO. It combines rides and attractions, live shows and concerns, unique workshops, traditional dinning restaurants. All decorations in the park are the 1800’s style.
My son loved the American plunge ride. I went once with him, I screamed the whole ride down, and my husband was standing on the bridge in front of that ride, recorded every single screaming I made. That was so embarrassing! The Lost River Boat Ride was fun too. My kids went got on and off the boat for hours. There was a gospel concert I really enjoyed too. I didn’t have pictures for those high-speed rides because we are not the fans of those kind of rides.
#5. Butterfly Palace
Do you like butterflies? Do you want to walk among over 1,000 live tropical Butterflies? Do you want the butterfly stop on your fingertip or on your child forehead? If your answer is yes, you must stop by this amazing Butterfly Palace and rainforest Adventure Center. It is a fun, educational, and entertainment place to explore in Branson MO.
